Fanack Chronicle for the Middle East and North Africa is pleased to invite you to its annual MENA conference on Tuesday October 16th, titled:

 

Royals and Revolutionaries
The Saudi-Iranian Battle for the Future of Islam and the Middle East

We are honored to announce our keynote speaker for the conference:
Roger Cohen, journalist, author and columnist for The New York Times
 

Carolien Roelants, deputy editor-in-chief of Fanack Chronicle and columnist of NRC Handelsblad, will read a column. Inspired by these two speakers we will then have an afternoon of dialogue and discussion with a panel of specialists. The members of the panel will be:
 
- Mouin Rabbani Dutch-Palestinian Middle East analyst, specialized in the Arab-Israeli conflict
- Paul Aarts Middle East expert, senior teacher International Relations at University of Amsterdam

Max Christern, managing editor at Fanack and former NRC-correspondent, will moderate the panel.

The conference takes place at ‘Het Spaansche Hof’, Westeinde 12 in The Hague and starts at 14:30 hours. Doors will be open from 14:00 hours. The event will end around 18:00 hours and includes drinks and bites.
